The Velvet Mat x DivaDance: RHYTHM NATION Flash Mob 🖤⚡

About this event

The Velvet Mat x DivaDance are teaming up again!

This time to bring a little Janet Jackson energy to St. Pete Run Fest.

We’re taking one of the most iconic dance anthems of all time to the streets for a surprise Rhythm Nation Flash Mob during Run Fest weekend.

Think: sharp choreography. Big energy. Black outfits. Serious faces for absolutely unserious amounts of fun.

You do not have to be a professional dancer.

You do not have to be a runner.

You just have to be willing to learn the moves, show up, and commit to your Janet era.

Joining the Flash Mob is FREE for members, $5 drop ins or added cost for Tshirt.

Come learn the choreography and perform with The Velvet Mat x DivaDance crew during one of St. Pete’s biggest movement weekends of the year.

📅 Sunday November 15

Exact flash mob day, time + meeting location will be announced once the Run Fest weekend schedule is finalized.

Run Fest takes over downtown St. Pete for three days of races, waterfront energy, spectators, music and festival fun and somewhere in the middle of all of that...

Rhythm Nation is showing up. We will be stationed outside of The Velvet Mat where we are part of the run route. We will then head over to the after party near the Mahaffey Theater where we will have a chance to invite runners into our Flash Mob!
