About this event
The Happy Wanderers, Mid-Florida Milers and Suncoast Sandpipers Central Florida walking clubs invite everyone to their 35th Walk Around Florida, November 6 to 8, 2026, a weekend of Volk sports, food, and friendship. This year they're hosting “A Park Odyssey” with epic challenges in city, county, state, and national parks that include 4 Walks and a Swim.
Celebrate Florida’s nature: beautiful, complex and sometimes challenging, as you head onto sandy trails, park paths and bike lanes in this tour of parks in Manatee and Sarasota Counties.
Please see the “Walk Around Florida 35” brochure for lodging, registration and activity descriptions – you can find the brochure at midfloridamilers.org.
