The Rays wrapped their regular-season home slate on Sunday with a 55th win at Tropicana Field & now need one win in Tuesday’s doubleheader at Yankee Stadium to clinch the division title through the tiebreaker.
On Friday, the Rays announced that Legends Global will serve as owner's representative and lead sales for premium seating + suites at its new stadium on about 120 acres at the Dale Mabry campus.
This move follows the county's naming of the Tampa Sports Authority as the local governments' rep to review design and construction documents.
Tampa Bay reinstated infielder Ben Williamson from the injured list before Sunday's series finale at Tropicana Field and designated outfielder Jake Fraley to open a roster spot.
Williamson will platoon with Richie Palacios at second base + back up Taylor Walls at shortstop for the upcoming game.
