About this event

Celebrate the vibrant cultures, rich histories, and living traditions of Indigenous peoples at The James Museum’s Native American Heritage Month Celebration! Designed for all ages, this free, family-friendly gathering invites our community to connect through the power of art, music, dance, and storytelling. As part of this special community day, guests will enjoy complimentary admission to all museum galleries. This year’s celebration coincides with the special presentation of James Lavadour’s masterpiece, "Like Rain," on view in our galleries through a loan from Art Bridges. Through collaborative programming with Indigenous artists, educators, and cultural practitioners, visitors will engage with authentic perspectives and honor the enduring creativity of Native artists. Free event. Part of Art Everywhere, made possible thanks to a Creative Pinellas grant through Pinellas County arts tourism funding. Space is limited; advance registration encouraged.
